Superset
Data exploration and data visualization platform.
We have a single shared Apache Superset instance.
The instance is available here...
(the link will only work inside the hospital network).
You should have set your own username and password. Contact Steve, Sam, Peien, or Paul if you've forgotten your username or password. We can reset it for you.
Admin instructions to reset a password or add a new researcher user.
The current Superset admins are Steve, Sam, Peien, and Paul.
To reset a user's password (if they've forgotten it).
Log in to Superset.
In the top-right of the UI select "Settings" > "List Users".
Find the entry for the user and click the 🔍 "Show record" icon (notably *not* the "Edit Record" option which you would have expected).
At the bottom of the page, under "Audit Info", click "Reset Password".
Choose a simple, memorable one-off password for them and tell them privately.
The user can then log in.
Instruct them to go to "Settings" > User "Info" and change their password to something secret and memorable to them. They can use anything they like. Admins can't see their choice.
To add a new user (a new reseracher wants access to Superset).
Follow 1. and 2. above
Click the green "+" icon "Add a new record" to the top right of the table.
Fill in their data.
Follow steps 5. and 6. above.
